Herefordshire FA - developing football for everyone
Development - take your skills to the next level

Player Development

The female player pathway provides opportunities for any female to access a tiered level of opportunity relevant to their needs and ability level.

In Herefordshire we are aiming to provide a level of provision at each level of the player pathway to ensure all female players can access an opportunity that is right for them.

Herefordshire FA 'Girls Player Development Centre - U11 - U17

The Herefordshire FA currently run an FA Girls Player Development Centre for players who show potential at U11, U13, U15 and U17 age groups.

Players are selected to attend the Centre having attended a trial for which they must be nominated for by their school or local grassroots club.

The PDC offers players additional training and support on top of their grassroots club. Players are still eligible to play for their grassroots club whilst attending a PDC.

The PDC will provide players with firendly fixtures against other PDC's which will enable players to show their true potential in a match situation.
